Mud-sale season Lancaster County’s late-winter and early-spring mud sales are so named because they are held in fields of melting snow and rain. Typically hosted by local fire companies, the fundraisers attract people in search of everything from buggies and hay to farm equipment and crafts. Sales begin at 8:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted, but activities continue throughout the day. Here is a list of dates and locations:
