31st annual Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

It’s that time of year again to visit the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire every weekend starting August 13th, 2011 till October 30th, 2011 from 11am to 8pm. Thirty-five acres of jousting knights and royal delights await as hundreds of colorfully-costumed characters in an authentic recreation of a 16th century English Village complete with dozens of authentic Tudor buildings. Musical performances, magic acts, fire-breathing, puppet shows, live jousting, and much more. Enjoy period foods, micro-brewed ales and a variety of wines from 23 Royal Kitchens and shop from merchants. Just so much entertainment to enjoy!

Come celebrate a delicious birthday bash for Yummie the Kitchen Kettle Village mascot on August 6th, 2011! New this year…Clifford the Big Red Dog and Curious George will be at the party. Bring the kids to celebrate a truly scrumptious day!

9am-1pm – Families can enjoy fun activities in the Village including crafts, story telling, pony rides, cookie decorating, a visit to Yummie’s Barnyard, bounce house, balloon artist, face painting and “Pin the Tail on Yummie” (at Village Outfitters).
11am-Noon – The FREE birthday party gets underway at the stage area with the introduction of all Yummie’s mascot friends from various Lancaster County attractions, as well as games, music and birthday treats.

The Turkey Hill Experience is a delicious place to be and perfect for the warm weather to visit! Relax at the creamery cafe and visit their gift shop to bring home a piece of Lancaster County!
