The Strasburg Railroad takes you and your family on a fun ride that follows the old railroad tracks of Lancaster County. Hersheypark Amusement Park has officially opened today ! People from all over the world come to Hershey, PA to experience the sights and sounds that that Milton Hershey envisioned when he came up with the idea of the theme park.

The Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania is located in 2013s Coolest Small Town in America !

The Sanctuary currently provides food, shelter and veterinary care for over forty Wolves with no government or corporate assistance.

AACA Annual Easter Egg Hunt: Hershey, PA

Join the AACA Museum for a fun filled afternoon with the Easter Bunny. On Saturday April 12th visit with the Easter Bunny from 11 AM – 1 PM. Then enjoy the fun of an Egg Hunt – Ages 0-3 years will begin at 1 PM, Ages 4-6 years will begin at 1:15 PM, and ages 7-10 Years will begin at 1:30 PM. They will also have hot dogs and popcorn beginning at 11:30 AM, while supplies last.

Springfest & Easter Apple Hunt: Hallem, PA

Think Harvest Fest, only with an Easter flare. Spring Fest will include Pennsylvania’s one and only first – Easter Apple Hunt.  Starting at noon, hunt for apples hidden in a straw bale maze.  Plus what Spring Fest would be complete without face painting, egg dying and live bunny rabbits, chicks and guinea pigs for children to interact with too!  Appropriate for children ages 1 and up!  Please pre-register all children for the event by April 17.  Admission is $5 per child.  Spring Fest hours: 10am-2pm, Apple Hunt-12pm. Columbia, PA Named 13th Best Small Town To Visit in 2014 !

Columbia, PA is part of Historic Lancaster County and runs along the Susquehanna River. This year the Smithsonian Magazine named is the 13th best small town to visit in the United States. This is a beautiful historic “rivertown”, as the locals call it, that houses the National Watch & Clock Museum, The Turkey Hill Experience, Wright’s Ferry Mansion and many more historic Victorian era buildings in the Historic District.  There are plenty of things to do in this small town and that is what makes it exciting and qualified it for the list.

Columbia is a visitor’s paradise to antique and art affection Atos with the many antique shops and art studios in historic former business buildings and homes. Visitors can walk to these places by parking in the lot next to the Historic Columbia Market House and stop at several excellent places for lunch.

Join the Lancaster Historical Society for its opening weekend on April 5, 2014 to mark the start of the 2014 tour year at the Rock Ford Plantation in Lancaster, PA !

Starting April 5th there are going to be festivities held up until April 6th to welcome the 2014 tour year. There is a special admission rate for this weekend only, children under the age of 12 will not have to pay an admission charge whereas adults will pay $8 and seniors (65+) will pay $7 admission charge. The event will take place at the Historic Rock Ford Plantation located in Lancaster City County Park in the South side of Lancaster city. It is a beautiful home sprawled out through acres and acres of Pennsylvania’s beautiful rolling hills and in close proximity to the Conestoga River that snakes its way through Lancaster. Join them for all of the festivities in this 18th century themed event.
