Breakfast with Santa | Manheim, PA

Pleasant View Retirement Community will be hosting Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, December 14. Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. and Santa will be arriving at 9:45 a.m. to meet and greet with children and adults. The event will be held in the Stiegel Dining Room at Pleasant View Retirement Community. All are welcome to go and enjoy pancakes, eggs and bacon prepared by Pleasant View food service and take pictures with Santa. All proceeds from the event will go toward the Benevolent Care Fund at Pleasant View. This fund helps to secure the quality healthcare and supportive services for residents and future residents of Pleasant View. Tickets for adults ages 12 and up are $7, children ages 3 – 11 are $5 and children under 3 eat free. Reservations can be made by calling Pleasant View at 717-665-2445. Reservations are required by December 6.

18th Century Tavern Night | Lancaster, PA

Rock Ford Plantation is hosting an 18th Century Tavern Night in its barn on Friday, December 13, 2013.  The Tavern Night will be held from 6 to 10 pm and will feature a catered meal prepared using traditional recipes according to the season.  The cash bar will serve a variety of period drinks such as Fishhouse Punch, Sampson, Flip, beer, hard cider, and wine.  While enjoying a night of good conversation and period food, guests will be immersed in an 18th Century tavern atmosphere with music and traditional card and board games.

Reservations may be made by either mailing the form on the website to Rock Ford Plantation, 881 Rockford Road, Lancaster, PA 17602, or by calling the Rock Ford office with credit card information and menu selections at (717) 392-7223.

Tickets are $40.00 per adult and $12.00 per child (12 and under).  The deadline for reservations for this event is Friday, December 6, 2013.  It is operated by the non-profit Rock Ford Foundation. For more information, visit their website.
